God Is In Control Over Our Lives

Isaiah 41:10 -Fear not, for I am with you; I will help you….

Every day when I wake up, I thank the Almighty God for his countless mercies. His love endures forever; His covenants are not void but fulfilling.

The beginning of this year 2020 was not a good start; we witnessed many natural disasters that have taken place around the World.

Bushfires, Australia – 2019-2020. …

Flash Floods, Indonesia – 2020. …

Covid-19, China and all over the world – 2019-2020. …

Volcano Eruption, Philippines – 2020. …

Earthquakes, China-India-Iran-Philippines-Russia-Turkey-The Caribbean – 2020.

In midst of all these catastrophes, God is still in control over our lives. In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind…. Job 12:10

Currently the world is reeling with pandemic COVID-19. Most of the families are devastated and many of them have succumbed to this virus.

Time is ticking away and entire world is heading in the race for discovery of vaccination but we have hope in our living God. HE will rescue the humankind against this diabolical virus.

Most of the academics, public transports, restaurants and establishments are in closed state, there is a complete lockdown situation. Most of them living under the fear of this virus.

This pandemic affected overall our lives in every area, even our vacation was reduce to a week. To get away from the stress, we went on a short vacation. My better half and I are nature lovers and choose to spend time close to nature.

We were excited as we started exploring the scaling the heights of mountain and travelled to the breadth of the desert. We were watchful and careful following the safety measures and adhering to the public safety.

I remember it was day 2 tour and we decided to explore few dams in between the mountain ranges. We were following the terrain and went in deep in to the mountain valley, suddenly fear gripped in; when we found ourselves isolated, helpless without the mobile coverage. No one to spot in vicinity and our trail was becoming rockier.

I remember that we had only one spare stepney that too was in punctured state and were carrying very less of water and one pack of bread roll. The road was becoming too dangerous and curvy. No matter of time, we both became panic. We were praying to Lord, to rescue us and send someone for our help.

The scorching sun, on one hand and steeply curves were making us exhaust. We then decided to stop, as we could not maneuver in the rockier path any further. We were still struggling to connect to a network coverage and there was no sign. Our GPS was out and calls dropped due to network failure.

Then our prayers seems to be answered as we spotted one family in distance and wasting no time, we went on foot requesting for help. We were so happy and our spirit came to live. The Arabic speaking family were guiding the route but we could not follow their instructions as our faces turned blank and in to panic mode. The family offered immediate help; told us to follow them. We finally embarked our break journey to our home back. We thank our living God for sending angels to our rescue.  …. Isaiah 41:10 -Fear not, for I am with you; I will help you. He fulfilled His promise and we finally were able to reach our destination happily without any casualty. Thus making the trip memorable.

All the praises to the Almighty God, by this experience we can feel God is in control over our lives. If you are in midst of crisis, do not get in to panic mode but press the Emergency Button (Prayer in faith). He still listens to our prayers even our feet is under deep waters.

Our LORD is the true God; he is the living God,…Jeremiah 10:10
